Your pick-up is arranged for 09:00 AM at your hotel or a designated meeting point.

Portugal, being the leading cork producer globally, and Alentejo, known for its abundant cork oak trees, presents a perfect opportunity for us to introduce you to the "Art in Cork" at a factory and shop in Évora. (30 minutes)

Upon arrival in Évora, you'll feel as though you've stepped back into the Middle Ages. This UNESCO World Heritage site was a pivotal location in the formation of the Kingdom of Portugal during the 12th-century Christian Reconquest.

In the heart of Évora, we'll explore its most iconic and unmissable landmarks. We'll visit the University of Évora, which was shut down following the Jesuits' expulsion in 1759 and only reinstated in the 20th century. We'll also see the Roman Temple, the city's hallmark, and the Évora Cathedral.

Not to be missed is Praça do Giraldo (the main square), named in honor of Geraldo "No Fear," renowned for his role in the city's reconquest.

Next, we'll proceed to a wine tasting session, where you can savor five different wines paired with local snacks. (Note: This may not be suitable for vegetarians) The wine tasting is included but optional and can be substituted with another activity upon request in your reservation.

Post-lunch, we'll stroll through Évora's gardens en route to the somewhat eerie Capela dos Ossos (Chapel of Bones) in the Church of S. Francisco. Constructed in the 17th century with human skulls and bones by three Franciscan monks, it serves as a poignant reminder of human life's transience. (1 hour)

We will then return to Lisbon.

Your drop-off is scheduled for 06:00 PM at your hotel or a chosen meeting point.
