Our first destination is Fatima, home to one of the world's most significant Marian Sanctuaries, attracting thousands of pilgrims annually. (1-hour stop)

Next, we journey to the town of Batalha to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Monastery of Batalha.

This architectural marvel was commissioned by King João I of Portugal in the late 14th century as a token of gratitude to the Virgin Mary for the Portuguese victory over the Castilians at the Battle of Aljubarrota.

(1-hour visit)

Following our exploration of the Monastery of Batalha, we'll make our way to Nazaré, renowned globally for its colossal waves.

We'll take a break for lunch (1 hour).

Post-lunch, we'll visit ‘Sítio da Nazaré’, a prominent cliff offering stunning views of the town and the Atlantic Ocean.

Atop this cliff stands the chapel associated with the legend of D. Fuas Roupinho, who, according to lore, was miraculously saved from falling off the cliff with his horse by the intervention of Our Lady. (30-minute stop)

As we return to Lisbon, our final stop is the charming town of Óbidos. This town and its castle were captured in the 12th century by King D. Afonso Henriques during the Christian Reconquest.

To conclude our day, we invite you to stroll through the castle and enjoy a taste of the famous sweet cherry liqueur, ginginha, served in a chocolate cup. (1-hour stop)

Your tour will end with a 06:00 PM drop-off at your hotel or another chosen location.
