Our journey commences as we cross the iconic 25th of April Bridge, also known as the Ponte sobre o Tejo (Bridge over the Tagus). Greeting us on the south bank in the town of Almada is the Christ the King statue, a monument symbolizing Portugal's neutrality during World War II.

Our first destination is a delightful wine-tasting session in the town of Azeitão, showcasing the region's exquisite wines. (45-minute visit)

Next, we venture to Palmela, celebrated for its medieval fairs and the historic Palmela Castle. From atop this 12th-century fortress, built by Portugal's first king, we'll enjoy panoramic views of the town and its surroundings. (20-minute visit)

We'll pause for lunch for an hour.

Our tour then takes us to the city of Setúbal. Here, we highly recommend sampling the local specialty, “Choco Frito” (deep-fried cuttlefish), or other fresh seafood delicacies. Post-lunch, we'll stroll along the main avenue and the riverfront before heading towards the Serra da Arrábida.

Traversing the Arrábida Natural Park, we'll guide you to a spectacular, secluded viewpoint. (30-40 minute stop)

Our next stop is the Cape Espichel Sanctuary, situated at the edge of the Setúbal Peninsula. This site, revered for the apparitions of Our Lady of Cape Espichel, offers stunning views where the cliffs meet the azure sea. (20-minute stop)

We will conclude our tour with a 05:00 PM drop-off at your hotel or another chosen location.
